Vancouver is a very diverse city. Just crossing the street, and there might be important changes in the style, quality of houses. My best part of the city is next to Stanley park.
above the forest you can see some tall buildings. The size of this park is the same as downtown area.
There are a lot of old cedars more than 50 meters high and 3 meters diameter
From the peninsula we can admire the north side, where the old and rich population is concentrated ( a villa costs at least 2 millions). When you are young, you have to work a lot to pay your credits to the banks, which pays dividends to its investors, as you can see in the photo
When they started to build downtown, they let a part of the trees, so the big flat buildings are pretty nice.
It must be nice to get down from 20th floor, view on the sunset in the see, ride the bike 5 minutes through the woods to get to the beach to make a bbq.
