Sleeping in a hammock is a great experience. But sleeping in a city, is even more thrilling. It’s the first time when we do it, but I highly recommend it. After 2 nights of airbnb in Kitsilano, we decided to camp in Queen Elisabeth Park. Here is the highest point in south of Vancouver.
There is a very nice bio dome, built by 11 brothers in the 70’s. Inside there is a tropical forest.
Next morning at around 10 am:
Stanley park was the best experience of urban hammocking. It’s such a big forest, we could feel really like in the mountains. After we woke up, at a 5 minutes walk, there was the beach. We swam in the Pacific Ocean.
These days is the Shakespeare Festival. We went with the backpack to see a play. We didn’t socialize with other spectators, but we spoke quite a lot with one of the organizers. After this champagne event, we went directly to bed, at a 5 minutes walk. The place is near the beach, we almost could hear an Opera concert. At which photo do you start to notice anything ?
J’adore les photos où on voit les habitants du hamac.
