In Port Angeles, at the tourist information, we understood that there are a lot of homeless people, so hitchhiking is difficult. The clouds looked pretty awful, so we waited for the bus to go to the West Coast to the ‘Third Beach’, in an Indian reservation. We arrived there by the free bus of the community.
At the dusk we crossed the Redwood forest to get to a paradise beach, well of the North, because it was raining. It seamed to be nobody.
But somewhere far, on the beach I saw a fire. Later someone came to great us. We made a small fire, John invited to his, which was a big one. He was travelling as well, so next day we spent it with him going south and seeing different places.
John worked on his farm, but due to the pressure of the big ones he started to build houses. The cost to build the average house is about 50.000 $ ! He works in different places, he doesn’t have the time to honour all the demands which come from his recommendations.
Now he is travelling. He is about 50, and needs to find his way, after the divorce last year. John is a person with one of the best spirit I’ve ever met. On this day journey, we talked about life, happiness and spirituality during hours.
