I present you the cousin of Marie Antoinette. If statistics are correct, that about 1% of the population is crazy, as we hitchhiked more than 200 times, I infer that picking up strangers in your car, it doubles the probability that you’ll remain sane, and an interesting person. We met in general amazing people.
We hitchhiked for 2 weeks, all Northern Island. As NZ is very safe, we went a lot of times to 1000 stars hotels, if we were not invited to stay overnight to someone who picked up us, or who payed for us in a hotel.
I learned how to prepare bread in 97 seconds. I leave the dough for 12 hours, and then 40 minutes in the oven, in a clay pot. We tried with different seeds, but the one with olives and rosmarin ( from the garden )… the best ever !!!
this experience was in a eco-village on Waiheke Island, near Auckland. The community is 18 years old. They use 100% solar panel energy, 100% rain water, and 80% food grown in there garden, or the ones of neighbors, dry toilet
We lived for 10 days in a community in the Amazonian forest, in Ecuador, see
We met very interesting volunteers in a ‘Spiritual’ community in Peru, in Valle Sagrada. The experience was so profound, that 2 weeks after we made some movies, check here:
Conclusion and resolution for 2017:
- have friends nearby
- be independent / self-sufficient –> stay out of the system ( which is cracking)
for this reason I put in place a site, to create a community. Please, have a look on:

play with it, crash it (a beer for each reported bug). In a few weeks, I want to make it public. And yes, why not, to come each morning for the fresh olive bread.
Happy new year ! stay wise, calm, but act
